Would there be an alternative indoor venue - would Christchurch Mansion or Ipswich Museum allow a liitle corner to be used ? Might provide some inspiration. It's the week before Ip-art
Hi This is not really anything to do with your request for ideas for KIP day (although they sound great!) but I am involved in running Learn to Knit and Learn to Crochet workshops in July (with the lady who used to run Purl and Co in Ipswich) and I wonder if you know anyone who would be interested? Hi Emma Its good to hear that Su has got a new venture up and running. We often think about her at our meet-ups and wonder how/what she's up to. I hope everything goes really well with the courses. I will put a proper post up on the blog if thats OK so all can read about it :-) Lois
We are a friendly, informal knitting group that meets every fortnight for some knit and natter. Why not bring your yarn and needles and join us! Meetings are every other Thursday from 7.30-9.30 at the Brewery Tap pub. Theres no charge but bring money to buy drinks at the bar!

I just wondered if you were doing anything for KIP day ? Anyone interested in a picnic say at Christchurch Park ?
We did a picnic last year but the weather was awful!!!

Good idea! The museum and the mansion sometimes hold knitting related events. I will contact them and ask :-)
